Speaking to Boro Player after the 2-0 win at Dagenham, Dean Parrett told us he was happy to be back in the team and getting some positive results on the pitch.

"It’s even better to get two good results, especially over Christmas and if we can get another good result on Sunday we’ll be flying. There was a vibe around the changing room in training on Christmas Eve. It just felt like we were going to win, even two or three days ago. It just felt like the boys were ready off of a good result against Exeter and it’s going to be a good vibe in the next couple of days as well."

"You can’t prepare (for Sunday) better really. Two good results against pretty good teams. We’ve just got to go again."

Dean also praised the Stevenage fans, with over 300 of them in fine voice at Dagenham: "They were brilliant support, we had a good following today. It was funny when they were singing 'we’re going to score in a minute' and then we scored just after that - that was brilliant."
