Stevenage manager Graham Westley was delighted with his team's performance in the 3-2 win over Cambridge, particularly in the opening 45 minutes.
He told us, "It was a very good performance today. I think you’d have to admit the lads in the first half were tremendous, their energy levels, the quality of football, their sense of playing on game, it was a Stevenage performance. Our work ethic was tremendous and the sense of togetherness and fighting spirit was there for all to see. It was a top quality first half performance.
"Everyone in the 11 did their job, from back to front everyone was at their jobs, dealing with the player they were up against, making sure they won personal battles. I thought it was a terrific team performance."
