Team news:

Bad news first; Jack Jebb is out with a medial ligament injury and is likely to be for 6-8 weeks and a slight sickness bug has hit the camp which Charlie Lee and a few others (un-named) are battling to be ready for the weekend.

However, after missing out in the loss to Newport, Darius should be back on Saturday after making it through training this week.

Last season…

Exeter never really threatened at either end of the table last season as they finished 16th on 55 points. The Grecians did have the 6th best record against the top half of the table, able to raise their performances in the tougher games as they won eight, drew eight and lost eight. Conversely, they were rock bottom against the bottom half of the table.

The story so far…

Now inside the play-offs, the Grecians will be more than happy with their start to the season especially considering they were rock bottom after six games with no wins. Although it took a while for Paul Tisdale’s side to get going, in the 15 league games since their rotten start Exeter have only lost one game and have propelled themselves into promotion contenders.

Recent form:

Last time we met:

With Boro in sixth place and Exeter just above the drop zone when we last met in March 2012, Stevenage rescued an excellent point to continue their play-off push late in the season. Richard Logan put the home side ahead after 19 minutes courtesy of some dodgy defending but Boro went onto dominate the game and deservedly got their equaliser when Robin Shroot volleyed in with half an hour to go.

Betting with SkyBet:

Boro are slight favourites for the three points on Saturday, although you can get some great value as we currently stand at 7/5.

Think we’ll come storming out the blocks? A goal in the first 10 minutes is 3/1 and Lee Barnard is the lone favourite to get us off the mark at 11/2.
