Speaking to Boro Player after today’s loss at Rotherham, defender Peter Hartley reflected on the side’s threat going forward.
He told us, “We created so many chances to score throughout the game. I’ve had a good header saved by the keeper. If that goes in we go in (to half-time) 1-1 and we can kick-on. We worked so hard to get back into the game. We had a lot of good opportunities. We can’t really look back now. We’ve got to look forward to Tuesday now.
On the recent change in formation he commented, “We’ve found a system that suits the players we’ve got, to get the best out of our best players going forward. I’m enjoying my football at the minute. I just want to win every game I play. Obviously it doesn’t look great at the moment but there’s a lot of games left and there’s a lot of points to play for.”
