Southgate car park available to football fans from midday
Fans driving to Saturday's Sky Bet League 1 game between Stevenage and Peterborough United now have an alternative parking option available to them, following discussion between the Club and Stevenage Borough Council.
With the circus occupying much of the regular Fairlands Valley car park site, fans with a valid match ticket will be able to use Southgate Car Park in the town centre, which offers over 200 spaces.
Stevenage FC stewards will be manning the car park from midday and checking tickets.
Southgate Car Park
Southgate Car Park is located next to Southgate House, opposite the Holiday Inn Hotel and Fire Station. This is just a 10-minute walk from the Lamex Stadium, with footpaths all the way to the ground. Simply head down Monkswood Way, passing ASDA, North Herts College and the Roaring Meg retail park on the way before arriving at the stadium.
