TEAM NEWS:

John Mousinho is touch ‘n’ go for the match after missing the last two games through injury and we believe there are no other major concerns at the time of writing.

For Bradford, Matthew Bates is back in training after missing the last two games through a hip injury and new signing; Aaron McLean is likely to return to the XI after leaving Saturday’s game with a knock.

RECENT FORM:

Bradford come into the game on the back of two consecutive wins – both 1-0, at home to Port Vale and then Oldham.

Both victories will have come as a big relief to everyone at the club as prior to those wins, the Bantams had only won 2 out of 22 games stretching back to early October.

It’s a remarkable statistic considering Bradford are looking fairly safe in mid-table - a great start to the campaign coupled with plenty of draws keeping the Bantams afloat.

VITAL STATISTICS:

Bradford have the joint most draws (with Bristol City) in the league – 14 compared to Boro’s four. One of the strongest aspects of Bradford’s season has been their defence. Conceding 38 goals in only 32 is better than the majority of teams in the league and their last two wins are a perfect example of this.
