CAN ZOKO MAKE IT 18 AGAINST DONS?

18 March 2014

Saturday sees the visit of MK Dons to The Lamex Stadium and one player in particular will be hoping to score another against Karl Robinson's men, having scored on his Stevenage debut earlier this season.

Back in October Francois Zoko scored his first Boro goal in the 2-1 home win over the Dons in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy. Since then the popular 30-year old has hit the back of the net a further 16 times in all competitions, a feat only surpassed by Peterborough’s Britt Assombalonga (19) and Preston’s Joe Garner (19) and matched by Tranmere’s Ryan Lowe (17).

After a flurry of goals in cup competitions got him started, the Ivorian has since shown similar predatory prowess in league games with his most recent goal being the opener in the 3-2 win at Bradford.

17 goals in 34 appearances for Stevenage is an excellent strike-rate but can Zoko make it 18 for the season against MK Dons?

To find out you’ll have to be here at The Lamex on Saturday. Tickets for this Category A game range from FREE to £18 in the terraces and from £8 to £22 in the seats. Click here for more information or simply visit www.borotickets.co.uk
