Stevenage manager Graham Westley has said he is pleased to secure new contracts for goalkeeper Chris Day and defender Jon Ashton.
"Having these two great professionals on board can only be a win-win situation for the Club as we look to regroup ahead of the new season."
"I spoke to them about my feeling that they are capable of playing good squad roles going forward, yet they feel capable of more than that. If that's turns out to be true then I will be delighted.
Graham told us, "Neither player had a good 2013/14 but both have been great servants to Stevenage and are determined to respond to that.
The pair recently signed new deals for 2014/15 and will offer crucial experience to the squad as Boro rebuild for the forthcoming Sky Bet League 2 campaign.
