Supporters attending tomorrow’s home game against Shrewsbury Town may notice work has begun on a brand new fan initiative inside The Lamex Stadium.
Construction is underway on a new beer zone in the north-east corner which will allow fans on the terraces to enjoy a drink before matches or at half time.
Once complete later this month the beer zone will see bottled beer served in fully branded and sponsored segregated areas. The Club will strictly enforce the Football League rules and fans will not be permitted to take bottles with them back onto the terraces.
The beer zone is one of a number of new initiatives for fans driven by the Club, with the help of the Supporters Advisory Board, aimed at enhancing the match day experience.
