Tottenham Hotspur fell to a narrow 2-1 defeat to Manchester United this evening in the latest U21 Premier League game at The Lamex Stadium.

A competitive game between two talented sides looked to be heading for a goalless draw, as both defences stayed on top until three goals in the final minutes gave late drama for the 1,671-strong crowd.

Adnan Januzaj put United ahead with a curling free-kick into the far corner with 86 minutes on the clock only for Nathan Oduwa to equalise almost immediately at the other end after winning the ball from Anders Lindegaard.

However Tom Thorpe's late, late header from Januzaj's corner sealed the win for the visitors.
