LOAN WATCH: FEJIRI SCORES ON ROYSTON HOME DEBUT

5 April 2015

Fejiri Okenabirhie continued his good start to life on loan at Royston Town with the only goal of the game as the Crows beat Potters Bar Town 1-0.

After playing the full 90 in last week’s 3-1 win at Beaconsfield SYCOB, Fejiri marked his home debut by scoring with a header in the second half. That result made it seven wins on the bounce for Royston at Garden Walk and leaves them firmly in the race for a playoff-spot in Evo-Stick Southern League Division One Central.

Elsewhere in Vanarama Conference South, Jo N’Guessan started St Albans City’s 2-1 defeat at Bishop’s Stortford. The young striker looked lively early on and caused Stortford some problems, helping his side to take the lead, but the Blues recovered and scored twice to take all three points.

Rohdell Gordon played the full 90 minutes as Chelmsford City suffered a last gasp defeat at Sutton United. The game looked to be heading for a draw until a 94th minute winner, leaving the Clarets with just one win from their last nine games.

Finally Michael Richens’ Farnborough lost 4-1 at home to Wealdstone. The hosts were 3-0 down at the break and looked doomed, seven points adrift from safety with just four games remaining.
