IPSWICH TICKET AND TRAVEL INFORMATION

Ticket details, supporter guides and vital train information!

Stevenage travel to Ipswich Town tomorrow night in the first round of the Capital One Cup and the Tractor Boys have kindly provided us with the following useful information:

Tickets
Any fans travelling to Ipswich without a ticket can purchase tickets (cash only) from the away turnstiles 10 & 11. These are located on Portman Road, next to the Ticket Enquiries Centre.

Prices are £12 adults, £8 concessions (over-60s, NUS card holding students, Under-20s & disabled fans) and just £3 for Under-16s.

Guides
Ipswich have produced an away fans guide for Stevenage supporters and have also provided us with a Portman Road guide.

Train travel
Fans are advised that post-match trains are disrupted due to engineering works between Ipswich and London. The only options back to London involve changes at Colchester, Chelmsford (onto a rail replacement bus) and then back onto a train at Shenfield.

Worst still, train company Abellio's own ticketing website also permits fans to buy tickets for a train (departing Ipswich 22.08, arriving London 23.34) that does not actually exist! Fans planning on getting the phantom 22.08 train from Ipswich need to be aware that this service will not be operating. Abellio have said that tickets bought for the 22.08 will be valid on other services.

Options are as follows:
Leave Ipswich at 21.43 (which means missing the last few minutes of the game plus any extra time), arriving in London 23.33.
Leave Ipswich at 22.43 (which means a bit of a rush if the game goes to penalties!), arriving in London 00.38.  This is probably too late for onwards tube or tube connections.
