Stevenage FC can confirm that an appeal to reduce the severity of on-loan striker Tom Hitchcock's suspension, following his straight red card against Notts County last weekend, has been successful.
Tom's suspension has been reduced from an automatic three game ban to one game. That suspension was served against Ipswich Town on Tuesday night, meaning he is eligible for selection against Newport County this Saturday.
