CEO to return to the Premier League in January...
Stevenage FC CEO Barry Webber has accepted an offer from a Premier League club and will be leaving the club in January.Chairman Phil Wallace said, "Barry came to us from the Premier League two years ago to add CEO experience to his CV and he returns to that competition with our blessing.
"I believe I’ve helped him to understand aspects of running a football club and I’m sure that will stand him in good stead in his new career. We, in turn, have benefited from an increased momentum in our activities, particular in fan engagement, community participation and new fan initiatives.
"The Club has grown the brand and developed and enhanced our commercial activities whilst winning the League 2 Family Club of the Year in 2015. So it’s been a win-win situation for us both. I’m sure we’ll stay closely in touch and we wish him well with his future career."
