Graham Westley looked to the positives after tonight's goalless draw against Bury at The Lamex Stadium.
He told Boro Player, "We tried to find a way to win the game but it was very much a question of using the lads that were available and trying to find a way. We didn’t have a lot of pace on the pitch and when you’ve got a lot of doggedness and determination but not a lot of pace it’s very difficult to be that threatening going forward. So we had to try and find routes to goal and try and work those routes and at times we had our moments.
"Bruno had a good shot first half which was probably as close as we came. Our set plays were a little bit disappointing and when you’re going to play the sort of game we played tonight you’ve got to be better at set plays than we were.
"I’ll give them credit when I go in there because with the changes, with the amount of boys coming back who’ve not had game time, it was a terrific display."
