Kick-off: 3pm

Team news:

No surprise after last weekend but Tom Pett and Adam Marriott are OUT, but we should have more details on their injuries in the coming days. The good news is that Jon Ashton is back in training after breaking a bone in his leg and Chris Whelpdale and Dean Parrett both have a chance of making the squad.

View from the dressing room:

Graham Westley says the arrivals of Andrade and Johnson will help plug the gaps left by Adam Marriott and Tom Pett after their recent injuries. Read more here.

The story so far…

It’s been a disappointing season so far for the Stags, currently 23rd and in the relegation zone on goal difference. After a poor start to the season, Paul Cox left the club in November and Adam Murray, club captain at the time took over as player manager.

Murray’s promotion hasn’t really sparked the sort of revival the club would’ve been hoping for, winning only one game since being permanently appointed manager and they’re currently on a run of six league games without a win.

Betting with Sky Bet:

There’s not much between the two teams according to the bookies; Sky Bet have Stevenage at 17/10 – a pretty chunky price considering the league position of the two teams.

Our last away win came at York where the score was 2-0, you can back us at the same price against Mansfield at 12/1.

Beardo is our favourite for the first goalscorer, priced at 6/1 with Danny Johnson just behind him at 7/1.
