Phil tells us about the club's transfer activities...
As we continue our countdown to the new Sky Bet League 2 season, chairman Phil Wallace has taken time to provide an update on the club's transfer activities.
He told us, "We're keen to add a few senior lads and also a couple of long term loans for the season. The manager is currently looking to add another keeper, a central defender, a left back and one or two strikers to the squad.
"We’ve had several lads in to spend a week with us, but so far we’ve not seen anyone that we want to commit to.
"There’s not a great deal left in the budget and the management have to be sure when we give someone a couple of years, but at least we do have a bit left to conclude a few contracts if deals can be done.’’
