Such is the make-up of Sky Bet League 2 this season that Stevenage will be travelling over 550 miles less in 2015/16 than 2014/15.
With Barnet and Leyton Orient joining the division it'll make for even more great home games, however for fans who love following Boro on the road here's a look at Stevenage's away trips and mileage this season...
A return trip to Newport accounts for the majority of August's 471 miles with short journeys to Leyton Orient and Dagenham also on the cards. September sees the smallest amount of travelling with trips to Barnet and Cambridge the only away games scheduled.
Journeys to Exeter, Portsmouth and Northampton mean October will see the most travelling this side of Christmas, with two West Country trips to Bristol and Yeovil accounting for the 584 miles due to be travelled in November.
The fixture list gave Boro games at AFC Wimbledon and Crawley Town during the festive season, meaning the M25 will be well used in December.
January is by far and away the heaviest month for travelling with Stevenage due to rack up a massive 1,314 miles on the road thanks to trips to Hartlepool, Plymouth (those two on consecutive weekends) and York. Carlisle is our only away game in February but will still see 544 miles completed.
Medium-distance trips to Mansfield, Wycombe and Oxford account for 467 miles in March and a return journey to Morecambe means April mileage is 694 miles, despite relatively simple trips to Luton and Notts County also that month.
The season concludes with a pleasant 428 mile return journey to Accrington, rounding off the 5,635 miles that Stevenage FC will travel in Sky Bet League 2 this season.
