First Round draw tomorow's morning
Stevenage FC will find out who they will face in the First Round of the Capital One Cup tomorrow morning, Tuesday 16th June at 10am.
For the Round 1 draw, the seeded teams will be split into two regional groups (based predominantly on a ‘North’ and ‘South’ split), and drawn against an unseeded team from the equivalent pot on a random home or away basis.
Teddy Sheringham's men are unseeded in the draw which could see them face any one of the southern seeded teams, including the likes of Championship outfits Brighton, Charlton, Bristol City, Fulham or Reading or one of a whole host of League 1 clubs.
Last season saw Stevenage host Watford in an exciting first round fixture, while 13/14 saw Boro go out in a dramatic second round tie 2-1 after extra time at Everton, having beaten Ipswich 2-0 at The Lamex in Round 1.
