The gaffer is pleased to have Jebb back...
News of Jack Jebb’s return to the club broke on Thursday and speaking about having him back in the camp, GW was full of praise for the youngster.
“He is a wonderfully talented central midfield player. We didn’t see a lot of him when he was on loan last time around because he was getting himself together, he was trying to find the level and he was getting used to men’s football.”
After previously being on loan us for a few months earlier in the season, Boro fans didn’t get to see much of Jebb as injury meant he only made five appearances. Despite this GW says that he showed all the right signs in training and he now has the opportunity to show what he can do.
“He was producing some wonderful training performances and I was seeing him grow and develop all the time.
"It is great to have him back here and I think he will bring, a little bit like Dean Parrett, dynamism and quality on the ball in the middle of the park. With eight league games left it is a great opportunity for him to come in and shine, if he can earn his way into the side.”
