Volunteers from the Royal British Legion will once again be around the ground on Saturday afternoon selling poppies as part of the annual Poppy Appeal. 

Prior to kick-off the two teams will be led out by the British Legion standard bearer. A wreath will then be laid in the centre-circle by a Royal British Legion member, prior to the reading of a verse from the Ode of Remembrance and a one minute silence.

Also available in the club shop and online for just £3 are these special Stevenage FC poppy badges, which have proved extremely popular. Get yours today whilst stocks last.

The Broadhall Suite will be open to home and away fans from midday and is the perfect place to relax and enjoy bar snacks, food and drink on a match day. Located in the south-east corner of the ground, just past the away turnstiles, it's easily accessible for all supporters. The early Premier League fixture between Bournemouth and Newcastle will also be shown from 12.45pm.

Fans in both the North and East Terraces can enjoy a drink inside the ground at the Corner Bar located in the north-east corner of the ground. The bar opens at the same time as the turnstiles and sells Carlsberg, London Pride, San Miguel, Kopparberg, wine, WKD and water (larger water bottles than the tea bars).

Saturday's weather prior to kick-off is forecast to be breezy and wet, with persistent, occasionally heavy rain coupled with extensive low cloud. However the weather is expected to be dry by kick-off with temperatures at 3pm forecast to be 16 degrees, dropping to 14 degrees at full time.

By Car (postcode is SG2 8RH)

- Leave A1(M) at Junction 7 and head into Stevenage. 

- Cross over first roundabout (2nd exit) 

- Cross over second roundabout (2nd exit) and parking (500 spaces) is available on your left at Fairlands Valley car park. The ground will be on your right.

By Rail

Stevenage train station is on the East Coast main line and has regular services running between the capital and the north. Great Northern trains run between London Kings Cross (from 25 mins) and Peterborough (50 mins). Many Virgin East Coast mainline services also stop at Stevenage providing travel options between London, Leeds, York, Newcastle and Edinburgh.

 

By Taxi: A taxi will take five minutes and cost approximately £5. Turn left out of the ticket barriers, take the next left down stairs and the taxi rank is immediately on your left.

 

By Foot: The railway station is approximately one mile from the ground and is easily accessible using the town's footpaths and pedestrian underpasses. Turn left out of the ticket barriers and take the next stairs on the right, prior to the bridge. Head along the A602, Lytton Way, with the railway and car parks on your right hand side. At the roundabout with Stevenage police station, take the second exit into Six Hills Way. At the next roundabout take the third exit (right) continuing along the A602 Monkswood Road, passing Asda on your right and North Herts College. After about 1/2 a mile you will arrive at a roundabout and The Lamex will be directly in front of you.

By Bus: The Arriva SB5 service runs from Stevenage bus station and takes about 5-10 minutes to reach The Lamex Stadium. Turn left out of the ticket barriers, proceed over the bridge and through the Arts and Leisure Centre walkway, down the ramp and the bus station is in front of you. Thanks to a new agreement with Arriva on match days, any fans in possession of a match day ticket or season ticket can travel on Arriva services throughout Stevenage for child fare on a single, return or day ticket. Accompanying children can travel for just 50p. The Arriva SB4 service from the bus stop behind the North Terrace will return fans to the town centre after the game.

 

A. The club shop will be open from midday on Saturday, giving you the chance to get your hands on our new home and away shirts and other new merchandise. The ticket office will be open from midday, allowing fans to collect pre-booked tickets, season tickets and purchase tickets for upcoming games.

Once inside the ground, fans in the East Terrace will also have the chance to buy official club merchandise from the new Supporters Association hut there.

 

A. All turnstiles will open from approximately 1.45pm.

A. Where to enter the stadium depends on your ticket. Find your correct gate below and then click on the link beneath to download a copy of our stadium map.

 

- Home fans in the Main (West) Stand (seats) need to enter through Gates 2-4 to the north of the ground or Gate 21 to the south. Season ticket holders can enter through Gate 1.

- Home fans in the North Terrace (standing) need to enter through Gates 5-8.

- Home fans in the East Terrace (standing) need to enter through Gates 10-12 (to the north of the ground) or Gates 13-16 underneath the centre of the East Terrace. Season ticket holders can enter through Gate 9.

- Gillingham fans will be situated in the South Stand (seats), accessible through Gates 17-19.

- Press and scouts are required to collect passes from the Executive Suite underneath the South (away) Stand

- Corporate hospitality guests will enter the stadium through the Directors & Hospitality entrance.

Yes, all four stands have tea bars which offer freshly prepared baguettes, home-made pies, cheesy chips; burgers, sausages and bacon sourced from local butchers; muffins, cupcakes, sweets and 99% fat free Shmoo milkshakes which are ideal for kids and adults alike! A. The easiest way to find the nearest tea bar, toilets and exit is by following the arrows on our pitchside gate signs (see below), at the front of each stand. Alternatively you can ask a steward.

 

A. If you have any questions during your visit then please don’t hesitate to ask one of our friendly stewards. They’ll be able to help you out with any queries – no matter how little – from finding your seat to pointing you in the right direction for the nearest toilets, tea bars etc.

 

 

 

A. There are four ways you can buy tickets at The Lamex Stadium:

 

1) Online at www.borotickets.co.uk. 

2) In person from the club shop.

3) From the ticket office on the day of a game (open from midday for a Saturday home match and from 5pm for a midweek home match). This is also where tickets bought online for collection can be collected from. 

4) On the turnstiles on the day of the game
