ACADEMY COACHING VACANCIES

Stevenage FC Academy have the following two part-time coaching vacancies available:

Stevenage FC – Part Time Academy Coach 
We are looking to recruit a passionate and professional minded Football Coach to work within our Category 3 Academy in the Foundation Phase. Working part-time at our Shephalbury Sports Academy, you will be responsible for the following:
  • The Lead Coach Role for one of our Foundation Phase Teams (9-11)
  • Provide quality, age appropriate coaching to all players in accordance with our Academy Philosophy and Coaching Programme 
  • Implement the Club & Coaching Philosophies. 
  • Ensuring all player records, session planning and administration is completed in an accurate and timely manner
  • Being familiar with all Academy policies and processes, working as part of an interdisciplinary approach to player development
Successful applicants will be available to work a number of evenings (Thursday & Friday) and weekends and will possess:
  • Ideally an up-to-date UEFA B license and the FA Youth Award (or working towards via Modules 1,2 and 3)
  • Experience of working with young players in an Academy environment and a firm understanding of the EPPP
  • An up-to-date First Aid qualification (preferably FA BFAS or equivalent) and completed the FA Safeguarding Children Workshop
This role will require the applicant to have a current FA DBS Enhanced with Barred List Check for the Child Workforce Certificate before starting work. The successful applicant will have to register onto the FA online update service. Stevenage FC is an equal opportunities employer.

Part Time Assistant Academy and Development Goalkeeper Coach 
We are looking to recruit a passionate and professional minded Goalkeeper Coach to work within our Category 3 Academy across the development stages including development and academy groups. Working Part Time at our Shephalbury Sports Academy, you will be responsible for the following:
  • Assisting the Head of Academy Goalkeeping and providing quality, age appropriate goalkeeper coaching to players in accordance with the Academy philosophy and coaching programme,
  • Provide quality, age appropriate goalkeeper coaching to players in accordance with the Academy philosophy and coaching programme within the clubs development programme.
  • Ensuring all player records, session planning and administration is completed in an accurate and timely manner
  • Being familiar with all Academy policies and processes, working as part of an interdisciplinary approach to player development
Successful applicants will be available to work a number of evenings(Tuesday & Friday) and regular weekends and will possess:
  • Ideally an up-to-date UEFA B license, UEFA B Goalkeepers license and the FA Youth Award (or working towards via Modules 1,2 and 3)
  • Experience of working with young players in an Academy environment and a firm understanding of the EPPP
  • An up to date First Aid qualification (preferably FA BFAS or equivalent) and completed the FA Safeguarding Children Workshop
