Steven Schumacher says Boro's 3-2 defeat at Barnet was "not good enough", lamenting a sloppy second half where Boro conceded three goals.
Boro twice led in the game but were unable to see the game out as Barnet came storming back.
“Not good enough, simple as that. First half we were ok but second half – not good enough.
“We played some half decent stuff, we stuck to the game plan, got ourselves ahead from a set-piece and when we came in at half-time we said they were going to have a reaction and they did.
“We didn’t react; we were sloppy from the very start of the second half and didn’t improve.
“We managed to get ourselves back in front after conceding a sloppy one but we have got to use a bit more experience.
“There are lads out there with experience and it wasn’t good enough, we should have seen the game out, had a bit more control of it and passed the ball better.
“I think the main thing point is that we didn’t compete enough; we lost too many headers all over the pitch, we lost too many second balls in the second half where in the first half we didn’t do that – we won them.”
