STEVENAGE TO CONTINUE HOSTING SPURS DEVELOPMENT GAMES IN 2016/17

8 August 2016

Stevenage FC can confirm details of five Spurs development fixtures to be held at The Lamex Stadium in 2016/17.

Following the success of hosting a number of Spurs Under-21 and Under-18 cup fixtures at Stevenage over the past two seasons, more fixtures in the newly-rebranded Premier League 2 will now take place between August and March.

The full fixture list can be found on our Spurs U23 fixture page here and the first game sees Everton visit The Lamex Stadium next Monday 15th August (7pm KO).

Tickets
Tickets for games will cost £5 adults and £2 concession. Only the West Stand (seats) will be open for these fixtures. These will be available in advance in the Stevenage club shop or online at www.borotickets.co.uk. Alternatively fans will be able to pay on the turnstiles on the night.

Competition rules
The age limit for eligible players in the new Premier League 2 has risen from Under-21 to Under-23, specifically players born after January 1, 1993. The rules regarding over-age players will remain the same, where each team can field a goalkeeper over the age limit and up to three over-age outfield players in every match. The format for the competition will remain the same, with Spurs' young professionals competing in the 12-team first division.
