Stevenage FC Foundation is seeking highly motivated, responsible and committed individuals to work within its expanding community programme.


The Foundation is looking to add two full time coaches to lead and deliver on a number of projects including soccer camps/centres, match day packages, and in particular the schools programme & extra-curricular activities.


Job Title: Community Coach (x2)

Reports To: School Sports Manager or Community & Welfare Manager

Location: Various locations across Stevenage and Hertfordshire

Contract: 25 hours per week

Salary: £15,000 per annum (pro rata based on 40 hours per week)


Job Purpose:


To deliver high quality school & community based coaching for all ages in Stevenage and surrounding area, enabling individuals to develop their abilities to their potential and enjoy physical activity which will encourage them to sustain activity levels. 


Provide support to the Senior Team to deliver funded projects across the Foundation.


Coaches will also promote positive healthy lifestyle choices and deliver educational messages through the median of football and sport through coaching. Our work will be focused delivering within primary/secondary school settings.


Are You Eligible:


To be eligible for shortlisting a candidate must have an FA Level 2 in Coaching Football qualification, which includes up to date Safeguarding and Emergency Aid certificate. It is also requirement that a short listed candidate will have the FA Youth Module 1 certification.


The successful applicant will need to be available to work during the day with the majority of sessions taking place after school. You will be required to work outside of normal office hours, including at evenings, on weekends and Bank Holidays. The role will also include working home match days as required.


All eligible candidates must have a full UK driving licence.
