Pre-Season Friendly
Saturday 9th July 2016
Clarence Park, York Road, St Albans, AL1 4PL
Kick-Off: 3pm
Stevenage travel to St Albans City tomorrow in the opening pre-season friendly of the summer.
Boro will face a Saints side who will also be hoping for an improved 2016/17 under former Boreham Wood manager Ian Allinson, after he steered them to Vanarama National League South safety this season. This summer has been a busy one for recruitment for Allinson with experienced faces such as goalkeeper James Russell, defender Ben Herd, midfielder Matt Ball and striker Junior Morias joining exciting prospects such as forward Sam Merson (son of Paul) and flying winger Rhys Hoenes (who won 24 penalties last season for Royston) at the club.
