Our Hertfordshire neighbours impressed many in the top flight last season, finishing 13th in their first year back in the Premier League since 2007 and reaching the FA Cup semi-finals.
Former Inter Milan and Napoli boss Walter Mazzarri took charge at Vicarge Road back in May and he will be running his eye over his new squad in this, their second pre-season friendly of the summer.
He will be hoping for more of the same in 16/17 from Odion Ighalo (15 goals) and Troy Deeney (13 goals) who between them formed one of the most feared strike partnerships last sesaon.
The Hornets head coach has, however, already dipped into the transfer market to boost his firepower, signing 20-year old forward Isaac Success last week from Grenada for a club record transfer fee. The Nigerian follows fellow striker Jerome Sinclair (Liverpool) and defender Christian Kabasele (Genk) into Vicarage Road this summer.
Tickets for all three Stevenage pre-season friendlies this summer are just £12 for adults / concessions*, £10 for Under-19s and £5 for Under-12s, representing great value for fans of all teams.
Darren Sarll's men also entertain Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday 23rd July (5.30pm) and MK Dons on Saturday 30th July (3pm) this summer, before welcoming Crewe Alexandra on the opening day of the Sky Bet League 2 season on Saturday 6th August (3pm).
