Stevenage FC would still like to hear from any firms interested in a new franchise opportunity to run The Lamex Stadium tea bars from the 16/17 season onwards.
The agreement will cover the operation and management of six tea bars within the stadium for all Stevenage FC home fixtures, including pre-season fixtures and cup / playoff games. The contract will be for a minimum two-year term and royalties due will be based on crowd attendance. The proposed tenant must also ensure all tea bars and staff adhere to Health and Safety regulations.
The successful company will be expected to invest in the refurbishment and branding of the units. Site visits will be permitted.
Stevenage has previously been highlighted as a benchmark club for catering across the entire Football League. The tea bars have also been awarded the highest possible food hygiene rating of ‘5’ by the Food Standards Agency. The club want to continue that high standard.
