With Northampton Town, Oxford United and AFC Wimbledon all securing promotion from League 2 this season and Dagenham & Redbridge suffering relegation, it will see the end of a number of relatively local trips for Stevenage. In their place Colchester United have dropped back into League 2 and provide a welcome relatively local fixture, but otherwise it's trips north to Doncaster (266 miles return), Blackpool (436 miles), Crewe (298 miles) and Grimsby (312 miles) and a trip west to Cheltenham Town (218 miles).
In total that means Stevenage fans will travel 6,356 miles in 2016/17, compared to 5,654 in 2015/16, an increase of 702 miles.
Our longest return trips will be to Carlisle (544 miles), Plymouth Argyle (516 miles) and Morecambe (454 miles), whilst our shortest return trips will once again be Luton Town (31.4 miles), Barnet (45.4 miles) and Cambridge United (62.6 miles).
