Fans can park in town and take the new shuttle bus instead...
Stevenage and Northampton Town fans attending this Saturday's Sky Bet League 2 game at The Lamex Stadium are warned of limited parking availability this weekend.
The club is aware that the presence of the fun fair at Fairlands Valley, opposite the stadium, will considerably limit the number of available parking spaces for fans on Saturday.
With all surrounding retail parks now introducing match day parking restrictions, fans driving to the game are advised that they can park in any of the town centre short-stay car parks and catch the shuttle bus from Stevenage bus station (Stop K - outside Matalan) or railway station (stop N). A map of the town centre car parks can be found here with shuttle bus points marked.
Nearly 300 fans have used the new shuttle bus service with Arriva over the past two games which provides home and away fans with return travel to the stadium for just £1.
For this Saturday's game the first shuttle will be approximately two hours before kick-off and post-match services will operate until 6.30pm. Our shuttle bus timetable can be find below.
Getting to Stevenage by train? Check your train times and nearest connecting shuttle bus further below. Please note the shuttle departs from Stop N at the railway station. Turn left out of the ticket barriers and head towards the town. Take the first stairs on the left before the bridge over the dual carriageway and Stop N is at the bottom on the right.
