Stevenage will travel to Port Vale in the First Round proper of the Emirates FA Cup.

The draw was made moments ago live on BBC2 and BT Sport and saw Boro given an away tie against the Valiants, who currently sit seventh in Sky Bet League One.

First Round fixtures are due to be held on the weekend of 5th/6th November. Confirmation of the date and ticket details will follow in due course.

Reacting to tonight's draw, manager Darren Sarll has told us, "It's a great tie for us because it gives us a chance to rekindle those days of beating sides from leagues above. It'll be tough but we have already paved the way, beating Ipswich this year in a cup competition and we have another chance of causing an upset. A good cup run is just what we want!"

In the meantime Stevenage's next home game is this Saturday 22nd October (3pm) against Carlisle United. In-advance tickets for this Category B game range from £3-£20 with family packages priced at £30 (1 adult, 2 U16s) and £40 (2 adults, 2 U16s).

Season ticket holders can also Bring a Friend to this fixture, using Voucher C in their season ticket book at the turnstiles to bring a friend or family member in for free to give them a taste of what life at Stevenage FC is all about. Click here for more details.
