MCANUFF AND GORMAN IN INTERNATIONAL ACTION

7 September 2016

Jobi McAnuff and Dale Gorman both featured in international action for their countries in the past 24 hours.

Jobi played the full 90 minutes as Jamaica lost 2-0 to Haiti in the early hours of this morning. The Reggae Boyz hopes of reaching the 2018 World Cup in Russia had already been extinguished following a 2-0 defeat to Panama on Friday, in a game which saw Jobi come on as a 62nd minute sub.

Meanwhile Dale played 86 minutes as Northern Ireland lost 2-0 in Macedonia in their latest UEFA Under-21 qualifier yesterday. That follows Friday night's narrow 1-0 defeat to Iceland at home, which saw the visitors snatch the win in the 87th minute. Dale played the full 90 minutes in that game and Ryan Johnson also played for 62 minutes.
