How to get there..

Onto the game…

Just two weeks after a goalless draw in a pre-season friendly at the Lamex, Stevenage travel to Millwall on Tuesday night in another tough Carabao Cup Round One game.

In each of the last four seasons, Boro have drawn Championship opposition at this stage of the season, making it through twice. Ben Kennedy won it for Sarll's men at this time last year and after four seasons without a cup run, victory again would be welcome.

Millwall came home empty handed from the City Ground on opening day with a tough to swallow 1-0 defeat against Nottingham Forest. The Lions created plenty of chances and boss Neil Harris was pleased with how his players performed.

The game will be the first ever competitive meeting between the two sides.

Team news...

Stevenage should have an almost full strength squad available with the likes of Kennedy and Godden back to fitness. Competition has increased further with new signing, Jonathan Smith available for selection.

View from the camp...

Tuesday's game should be a competitive fixture with both managers stressing the importance played on the game.

"It is very similair to going to Ipswich last year. We always seem to pick out difficult away trips against good sides in this competition and I have every respect for the work Neil Harris has done.

"We will wait and see what sort of side they play but we will be as strong as possible."

"Stevenage will come here looking to cause an upset and defeat a Championship club, so we will have to be every bit as good as we were last weekend if we are to secure our place in the Second Round.

"The Carabao Cup is a competition that I'll be taking very seriously, as I always have done in my time in charge of this club."

A first for Moro...

Between 2006 and 2009, Steve Morison scored 89 goals in just over 150 games for Stevenage, making him the clubs second highest ever goalscorer. A move to Millwall beckoned for a then club record fee, where the striker continued to score goals at a prolific rate.

Spells at Norwich and Leeds followed before returning to The Den in 2015, highlighted by his winning goal in last seasons Sky Bet League One Play-Off final.

Tuesday's match will be the first time Morison comes up against Stevenage since leaving in 2009.
