Video & Quotes from the boss...
- Sarll on a good start to the season...
"The pleasing thing is that whilst we are trying to get others fit and back in contention, we have picked up points. No disrespect to any other players but I think we had the strongest group available last Saturday.
"It only goes to help the performance and ultimately the outcome so it is important we carry on down that path and try and get everyone back fit and available for selection.
"It has been solid, but I have got to say, I think the expectation has changed at Stevenage over the last 12 months. I think that, me personally, I kind of expect to pick up those points now.
"Whilst we are there and we are in that place mentally, it always goes to raising standards, performance levels, expectations and outcomes, all of those sorts of things. I think if we had targeted anything less, we would have been doing our supporters an injustice."
- Sarll on relishing another local derby...
"We had some good success against them last year, we know they are very much a different side now that Ross has taken over, and we need to be prepared for the different threat Barnet will present.
"The derbies are important to us here, I think we have done well in derbies during my tenure. We know it is going to be a high intensity game and we know it’s going to be very difficult."
- Sarll on expecting a certain type of game...
"The derby games have a tendency to have that side of it. I think we will see a technicality to a Barnet v Stevenage game that we may not have seen before.
"Ross was an Under 18s coach when I was the Academy Manager at Stevenage and you got a flavour for his personality and the way he wanted to play the game.
"You can see a reflection of that in some instances now. It should be a strong wheeled, high octane game and that is what we prepare our players for."
