Video & Quotes from the boss...

  • Sarll on the win...

"I just said to the players, human nature is such a strange thing. You almost come away - because of the last 15 minutes and because we've conceded an unnecessary goal - I am almost somewhat disappointed.

"We all rocked up here today at 1.30pm with one thing in mind, and that was winning. We have got the job done, and we have got it done convincingly."

  • Sarll on Newton's third goal of the season...

"I don’t know how he did it actually, it was on his chest and then it was in the far corner. Danny earns everything he gets. The harder he works the luckier he gets, and he’s lived by that mantra all his life."

  • Sarll on a home debut and goal for Smith...

"I thought he was really impressive, all game. His athleticism to get out to the ball, press and make that tackle.

"He as been a real big plus for us these last two games and there’s no surprise when he has come to the club we have taken four points from six. He's a terrific acquisition, top character, and I have thoroughly enjoyed my time working with him thus far."

  • Sarll on Ben Kennedy...

"When we talk about the Godden's of this world being the top players in this division, I always say don't look too further afield then Ben Kennedy.

"20 years old and he has that ability to inspire and the ability to change the course of games. I thought he was really terrific when he came on. A little bit disappointed with him the last 10 minutes but he is playing a little bit of catch up in terms of fitness, and he will only get better from the minutes on the pitch today."

  • Sarll on a good start to the season...

W"e always want progress, and we looked at August last year as a disappointing month for us in terms of our points accumulation.

"To be three games in and still not tasting defeat, still not looked anywhere near tasting defeat is a good thing. Great psychologically for the players, 5 points from 3 games is a terrific start.

"I think we have all come away knowing there is still a lot of growth in us as a team."
