Boro will play their first game of the Herts Senior Cup away at Boreham Wood tomorrow night (Tuesday 5th December, 7:45pm kick-off).
The Wood have won the competition four times and featured in the final against Hitchin Town just two years ago.
They currently play their football under manager Luke Garrad in the Vanarama National League where there are plenty of Stevenage connections.
Ryan Johnson and Blair Turgott are both currently on-loan at the club could also see some other familiar faces with Dean Wells and Bruno Andrade both plying their trade at Meadow Park.
