'Tis the season...

First Team players, staff and Boro Bear visited Lister Hospital's Bluebell Ward and Children's A&E armed with gifts and goodwill on Thursday evening.

The visit, organised by our superb Supporters Association, saw Chris Day, Jack King, Joe Fryer, Alex Samuel, Matty Godden, Fraser Franks, Tom Conlon, Dale Gorman, Luke Wade-Slater, Andronicos Georgiou and Ben Wilmot all involved in the annual festivities.

Perhaps the most popular visitor was Boro Bear though - the greatest mascot in all the land proving an undoubted hit with the brave children inside the wards.

W.J Rowe Fish and Chips kindly provided up to 100 meals for the dedicated staff and we would like to record our gratitude and respect to all the nurses, doctors and members of staff working at Lister Hospital, especially at this time of year.

A special thanks to Jacky Berners of the SA and Claire Hickey at Lister Hospital for helping make all of this happen.
