The deal promises an exciting local partnership...
Stevenage Football Club is delighted to announce a major sponsorship deal with Astute Electronics Limited – global distributor and procurement specialist.
This significant contract will see the Astute logo placed front and centre of Boro's shirts until the end of the 2018/19 season, with an option to extend.
Astute founder and managing director, Geoff Hill, said, "We see this as an excellent opportunity to not only support a talented, thriving local club, but also the wider Stevenage community.
“We have really embraced the town since we moved our global headquarters to Stevenage last year. We count a number of local businesses as valued customers and it’s proving to be a great base for our business."
Clive Abrey, commercial manager of Stevenage Football Club added, "These are exciting times. We are delighted to be working with Astute Electronics. They are a major employer in our town and a highly successful company. We hope to forge a lasting relationship with them and look forward to welcoming their directors, staff and customers to The Lamex Stadium."
Founded in 1989, Astute’s continued success and growth in electronics distribution and specialist procurement services resulted in the company opening a new 60,000 SqFt head office at Rutherford Close, Meadway Business Park, Stevenage, in 2016 and now has over 150 employees.
