Darren Sarll says he is delighted to finally get his man as Harry Beautyman was officially unveiled as the clubs third summer signing
Sarll revealed that it wasn’t the first time he has tried to sign Beautyman during his time as Manager.
“Harry is someone that I have already tried to bring in twice before already here so I am delighted we have got him.
“I think the supporters will really appreciate his athleticism and enthusiasm. He is a real trier.
“What he brings to us technically and tactically is a goal from midfield which I think we were missing last year, especially in the latter stages when Matthew and Ben weren’t available.
“Harry will definitely bring that threat onto the goal. He constantly gets into the box, has good timing and he will be a big success here because he is at a good age and he wants to work hard for the football club.
“He is a real salt of the earth type chap so he does bring a certain type of character to the training ground. He is very chirpy, very bright, very busy and will be a terrific addition to our developing squad.”
Beautyman joins Alex Samuel and James Ferry as new additions to Darren Sarll’s squad and the Manager says there is still plenty more business to be done.
“It is an ongoing thing. There is still probably five or six more to do and as I keep saying, we won’t be settled until the end of August.
“I know there has been a bit of a gap between signings but if you think of how much time is left, we will be absolutely fine. It is all in context, we know we will be doing our business a bit later than most but as long as it is right, I don’t mind.”
