Darren Sarll believes that new signing, Danny Newton will be a great fit for Stevenage FC.
Newton scored 29 goals for Tamworth last season, sparking plenty of interest from clubs in the EFL.
Speaking about the arrival, Sarll says Newton reminded him of another player taken from a non-league side only a year ago.
"It brings me back to the process of acquring Matty Godden 12 months ago. He has a very similar desire and character which is so important for us when signing players. He has all the right characteristics.
"As a player Danny brings a real desire to score goals, especially when crosses are delivered into the box. He is a tenacious player that makes things happen and I am delighted he is with us.
"This is the club we are. We provide a strong platform for players to win, develop and play. We must have all three and Danny fits this criteria perfectly."
