Video & Quotes from the boss...

  • Sarll on a good point Tuesday & making improvements…

“Obviously when you play against the so called better teams, I think any point or points you take are beneficial. Those games are always tight and you always have to try and play them tight.

“I was really disappointed with the goal we gave away; I thought it was horrendous really.

"But I was really pleased with the response of the players; at no point during the game did I think Coventry are really on top of us, so I was pleased by that.

"I just thought they played with a little bit more penetration in their play and it allowed us to force an opening that weren’t previously there.

"We have played some proper sides and done okay. As always, we are at the end of November and there is still so much to play for and so much to improve on."

  • Sarll on facing Cambridge at the weekend…

“The manager is a real fighter; I expect a real team fighting. We will expect a little bit of a repercussion from the last couple of results. I have been there, so we expect a response.

“From experience I guess it will be quite cagey on their part, I think there will be a few nerves in the camp, which is only natural.

“Remember that first half against Accrington, we were very anxious.

"I really enjoy the local derbies in general and you know it is going to be a tough game.

"You look at Shaun as a player and the man behind that, they will be a resilient, tough side for sure.

"But it would be nice to end the week with a win and finish what has been some good work so far this week. It would be nice to finish with a real good performance and a strong win against one of our rivals."

  • Sarll on injury doubts for Saturday...

“We have had a few casualties from the other night, obviously everyone saw Pett and Godden come off injured.

“King is always fragile. Newton has had a problem today and Kennedy is obviously still unavailable.

“Ronnie Henry hasn’t been able to do too much today so there has been a few but you will always get a few off the back of a Saturday-Tuesday.”
