Stevenage FC is pleased to announce that Dean Saunders will be the next Guest Speaker in our series of Sportsman’s Dinners.
Currently working as a pundit with Talksport, Dean has enjoyed a hugely successful playing career that spanned 19 seasons, starting at Swansea City and ending at Bradford City.
Spells along the way at Liverpool, Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest, Oxford United, Sheffield United, Benfica and Galatasaray mean Dean has a huge catalogue of experiences to draw upon.
Dean also won 75 caps playing for Wales, scoring 22 times, making him the nation’s fifth highest goal scorer and capped player of all time.
More recently Dean has gained managerial experience with Wrexham, Doncaster Rovers, Wolves, Crawley and Chesterfield.
No punches will be pulled and with many never-heard-before stories to tell, it promises to be a special night in The Broadhall Suite.
The event will take place in The Broadhall Suite on Tuesday 19th December, with tables of 10 priced at £600 plus VAT, to include a superb three course Roast Turkey dinner expertly cooked in house by our resident Chef, Tony Start.
Supporting Dean on the evening will be Adger Brown, one of the funniest and most experienced comedians currently working the after dinner circuit.
