Rowan Liburd continued his fantastic start for Guiseley on Saturday as he scored a brace at promotion chasing Woking to help secure a vital 3-2 win.
The victory was Guiseley’s first away from home this season and means the Lions are now out of the relegation zone, with two wins and a draw from their last three games.
Liburd’s performance earned himself a place in the National League Team of the Day and you can watch the highlights here.
It was a good day too for Dipo Akinyemi, as the youngster scored and assisted in Bishop’s Stortford 4-0 win over Hanwell Town in the FA Trophy.
After a sub-par first half, the Blues eased away from Hanwell late in the game with Akinyemi influential.
In other news, Blair Turgott came on as a 73rd substitute in Boreham Wood’s 2-2 draw with Bromley whilst Ryan Johnson and Kevin Lokko (suspension) didn’t feature for The Wood/Dagenham respectively.
