Video & Quotes from the boss...

  • Sarll on the spirit shown to grind out the win...

“I think we were all terribly hurt and embarrassed by Saturday and a lot of questions would have been asked of the players - whether they were committed and all these things.

“I said to the chairman this morning, we have responded before, we have got it in us to respond again and we will try our absolute hardest to do it.

“It wasn’t a question of who we were playing tonight; it was a question of whether we would have the attitude and temperament to respond. And obviously you go 1 down and you think here we go again.

“It was a wonderful show of attitude and application from the players."

  • Sarll on two of his stars coming up with the all-important goals…

“Matthew and I have had many conversations over the past 3 days, some more controlled than others.

“You always want as a coach, a friend, a leader, you always want people to respond in the way they can.

"My lord did he respond, and Kennedy is just Kennedy. When the moment is there and the stage is created for him, he normally likes to step up and take centre stage."

  • Sarll on jumping back into the top 7 & starting to make amends for Saturday's defeat...

"It is so important that we stayed around it; the expectation is that we do stay around it.

"I still think the most important thing is to rebuild the connection between us and the fans, because we have let them down we know that.

"The only way we can rebuild that is by showing blood and guts. Playing for our town, playing for our football club and showing pride in our football club."
