Pre-match video & quotes from the boss...

  • Sarll on his now finalised squad...

“I like what we have got and I like what we have done. We have been so periodic in our acquisition of players. It has not been loads at the beginning, loads at the end and it looks like a big panic or big rush. It has been very steady and very well thought out.

“We went in a certain direction and we have stuck to that. We have made sure we stuck to that in that we wanted an athletic, dynamic group of players who wanted to work and graft for each other and buy into the manager."

  • Sarll on the physical state of the group...

“We took a few kicks, knocks, strains and pulls on Saturday as you can probably imagine from going down to 10 men. The physical demands increase and the commitment of the players in and around our box and their box to attack, to tackle. I thought the commitment was great. That obviously has its negatives.

“Danny Newton took a kick on Saturday so he is still a flip of a coin. Chris Whelpdale had to come off because of little strain.

“We can work around knocks and pulls and strains, and get a group of players out there Saturday and get the 3 points.”

  • Sarll on the Cheltenham challenge...

"One of those teams that are managed by someone I have masses of respect for. You know they are going to be resilient, robust and when you look at their recruitment over the summer there is a lot of physicality.

“Grimes, Atangana, Wright’s still there, Pell’s still there. Dawson came from Yeovil – he is an athlete. You can see the direction in which Gary would like to go in and you have got to give that respect, you have got to research it. You have got to try and find the flaw, find the strength and work around those traits.

“We are adamant that what we must bring is the commitment and desire that was very evident against Barnet, Colchester, Newport and Grimsby.

“We must keep going because that is the core foundation to our 8 points and it will be the core foundation to 3 more or 1 on Saturday.

“If it is not there, we won't take a bean from the game. It is so important we have a consistency to our thinking."
