The 18 year old Academy product has made 15 appearances for Stevenage since his EFL debut in January and has attracted the attention of some of the biggest clubs in the country.
Red carpet recognition also followed as Wilmot picked up the LFE League Two Apprentice of the Year at the 2018 EFL Awards.
Chairman Phil Wallace said, “We are proud to see the Stevenage name on the England U19 invitation list as it has never happened at the football club before. Ben is a real talent who will undoubtedly play at a much higher level.’’
