Video & Quotes from the boss following a fourth game unbeaten...

  • Dino on a fair result...

“I think so. They are a good side, they caused us a few problems which we have not experienced the last three or four games.

“They have been up there all season and you can see the quality they have got there.

“I thought we started the game brilliantly, we scored in the first 15 and that was our plan.

“It was a good start on the front foot, it was terrific well worked goal and after that I would like us really to go for the second.

“Unfortunately we have not scored more than one, but I was disappointed with the goal we conceded because we should not concede that type of goal.

“As a back unit of the midfield and the back four, they should not concede that goal.

“It is a work in progress and I thought we finished the game strongly and we could have nicked it with two great chances at the end.

“What is important though, which I have told them in the dressing room there, this team three or four weeks ago would have lost that game."

  • Dino on a well worked goal...

“It is great when you work on something on the training ground and you work it to perfection.

“We have been working on set plays, I thought we have been looking dangerous last three games on set plays.

“We were unlucky not to score at Newport, similar routine. But we have got to change that for Cambridge, because I am sure they are watching us.

“We were resilient, we got a point out of the game, we could have won it and there is no fault to players because they gave everything they have got there.

“The technical aspect will get better, but I thought as effort which is the least I am asking for, show the fans that you care about the badge.

“I understand Stevenage fans, they pay hard earned money to come in here and I want the players to show and give everything they have got."

  • Dino on the late push for a winner...

“The 93rd and 94th minute we had two great chances, Danny Newton just whisks it over the bar and Wilkinson had a shot which everybody thought had gone in.

“I though they put us under pressure with their long balls, they played a lot of long balls behind us and we sat deep and did not push on.

“You are probably right about legs, the last three tough games we have had we have travelled a couple of them a long way with overnight stays.

“I have played more or less the same team, what I have got to do now is look after them the next couple of days and get ready for Cambridge to be on the front foot again."
