Quotes from the boss ahead of tonight's game...

  • Dino reflects on Saturday's win...

“It did not really change much from Monday the performance, I thought there were certain aspects of the game where we need to improve.

“As a back four we can always get better, as a front six we need to get better as well.

“I thought we pressed them pretty well and we got stronger as the game got on. We defended their set plays really well and I thought we should have scored two or three.

“I like to dominate possession though and I thought we did not do that, especially in the second half. Hopefully going forward that is one aspect of the game we can improve on."

  • Dino delighted with how the boys are progressing…

“The biggest thing is the progress we are making, performance after performance we are getting better and that is the biggest positive.

“Yes, the results have improved too, but it is delightful for our performance levels to be improving, with results backing it as well.

“It is very good because I always look at improvement in performance, I do not look at the end product.

“The end product is there, but there is a process to it and that is where I am coming from.

“I keep talking about the process of winning, but you have got to do a lot of things right to keep winning consistently and that is what we do."

  • Dino on a big week at home...

“Two tough games but it is great that they are back at home.

“Since I have come here I have tried to improve our away form, which is improving.

“And of course, we can always improve our home form as well, we know that we are good at home.

“Although Mansfield have lost four on the bounce, I have watched their last couple of games against Luton and Crewe and they were very unlucky to not take something out of the game.

“They still have a very good chance to make it into the play-offs, so I am sure it will be a very tough game.

“We take each game at a time but hopefully we will beat Mansfield and that will give us a real positive mentality to attack the game against Cambridge in the local derby on Saturday."
