Video & Quotes ahead of Saturday's final home game...

  • On two big games to see out the season...

“It is good to be involved, there is nothing worse than being involved at the end of the season in nothing games.

“There is a lot at stake for Exeter and Wycombe. They are big games for both teams and we have just got to make sure we approach it properly and be totally professional about it.

“I want to finish our season on a positive note as well.

“It is our last home game and we owe our fans, despite the tough season they have had, a good sending off to the summer and make them look forward to next season hopefully.

“That is my biggest message to my players, to the fans, to all the staff who have worked very hard over the season and it would be fantastic if we can finish on a high.

“Give everybody a good sending off home and hopefully they look forward to coming back next season as supporters because we need them."

  • On next season’s plans being well underway…

“I have got a very good idea what I want to do next season, I am clear in my mind about that.

“It is just case of - and I hate saying it - but we need to get this season out of the way to kick on for next season.

“We have got to focus on Exeter in the short term and in the long term, we have got to focus on talking to players and talking to agents. I have got great help from the Chairman and Leon here in that department.

“We are already making huge strides in re-organising the group and making sure we are taking the right group with us next season that I want to take.

“We need changes because 15th in the league is not good. We do not want to be a bottom half table team.

“And if we do not make those changes it will be the same, you cannot keep doing the same thing and expect different results.

“You have got to change certain things to get different results and that is what I am going to do.

“Working hard is part of our ethos so I have got to make sure that I am recruiting players that have that in their heads first.

“We will get fit, we will get organised and that is what the fans want to see at Stevenage.

“So, I am looking forward to the challenge."

  • On how the squad are looking...

“Yeah we have got a few knocks this week.

“Wilkinson is suspended, we have got Dale Gorman out, we have got Joe Martin injured this week.

“Ronnie is touch and go, I have had a few missing this week.

“I have got to put a team together to try and win the game on Saturday.

“What that will do is give me a good idea to look at one or two new players that I have not used over the past three or four weeks.

“Hopefully they can come in and do well and make me think for next season.

“McKee has not been fit, I am not sure he is going to be fit for Saturday either.

“It is a shame, I am really looking forward to working with him, but he has not really been fit since I have come here."
