Video & Quotes from the boss ahead of Saturday's game...

  • On the Norwich game…

"I wanted to win it, and I did not get a win, so we move on from that.

"I thought we worked very hard for a good 60 minutes and we were very good. We lost our way a little bit which was a combination of two things, a combination of them putting on Hernandez and Pukki. They are two big players there and that was the difference for them going forward.

"We conceded two sloppy goals and in those types of games, you need to make sure you don’t concede from set plays and we did that.

"So, we have learned from it, we will move on. We will be better equipped next time we play one of those games, maybe an FA Cup game. We will be better equipped as a team and as a squad."

  • Adjustments to training after Tuesday…

"When you have a tough test like we had on Tuesday, so early on in the season, you have to be careful. You have to be careful not to burn the squad out. We had a tough game last weekend against Crawley, where we put in a lot of hard work, a lot of energy.

"Tuesday's game was difficult because there was a lot of out-of-possession chasing around against good opposition. It was a big pitch at Norwich, and I have adjusted my session this morning to ensure my players are fresh for Saturday."

  • On Morecambe…

"In League Two, every game is winnable, but if you are not on it you can lose any game. It doesn’t matter if they have got off to a bad start.

"On Saturday afternoon we have got to play as well as we can, and that is what we have got to do every game. Yes, Morecambe had a poor start, but that does not mean they will be poor on Saturday, I am sure they will be determined to put that right."
